Visual Identity System

Creating your own visual identity system for your own hypothetical business is about as open-ended for a project as you can get. So where do you look for inspiration? I looked around my college community and thought of what would be a good addition to our campus area.

This project required me to reflect on my own goals and ideas for the project, to know what values I wanted to portray and how I would accomplish them. Building a brand from the ground up requires a lot of forethought and brainstorming before moving forward with a final product. For this project, however, the goal was also to expand the brand as widely as possible, creating all sorts of collateral my business may need to function.

It was a very worthwhile and satisfying project to see come together, allowing me to visualize the business as a real place I would like to visit. It challenged me to combine all my design and research skills into one project, and I'm proud of the outcome.
